Ingredients Overview
Smoked salmon: Salmon is the star in this appetizer, so use good quality smoked salmon.
Cucumber: English cucumber is longer and thinner than a standard cucumber, and you don’t need to peel it!
Cream cheese: I used full-fat whipped cream cheese, but you may lighten up this recipe by using a low-fat substitute.
Dill: I highly recommend using fresh dill as it really makes the flavors in the cream cheese shine.
How to Make Smoked salmon Bites
Step 1: Mix cream cheese and lemon zest.
Step 2: Slice cucumber sliced on a diagonal and lay out on a plate or serving platter.
Step 3: Spoon a dollop of the cheese on a slice of cucumber. Continue with the rest of the slices. For a prettier presentation, use a a piping bag.
Step 4: Place a piece of salmon on top and sprinkle on some of the seasonings and dill.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy.
