Sweet potatoes are an absolute staple in our house, my family absolutely loves them. With just a little bit of oil and spices, baked sweet potatoes are a fantastic side dish to accompany so many meals. These oven-baked sweet potatoes are so addictive!

Baked Sweet Potatoes

- *Optional* Chef knife
Ingredients
- 3-4 large sweet potatoes washed
- 3-4 tablespoons (45-60 ml) olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- salt to taste
- *Optional* 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Slice the potatoes in half lengthwise, brush them with oil.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon, rosemary, thyme, and salt.
- Roast cut-side up until lightly browned and tender for about 35 to 45, flipping halfway through.
